June 13--Reality star Farrah Abraham was arrested in California for getting into a fight with a hotel security officer, police said.
Abraham was charged with battery and trespassing after she allegedly struck a male guard who had asked her to leave The Beverly Hills Hotel, Beverly Hills Police said in a statement.
The security officer told police Abraham had gotten involved in a verbal dispute with guests inside the swanky venue, and that she turned violent toward him once he asked her to go.
"The security officer reported that Abraham struck him in the face with her forearm, grabbed his ear and pushed him in the face as he attempted to prevent her from re-entering the hotel," the police statement reads. "Officers noted that Abraham exhibited signs of intoxication during the investigation."
Abraham, 27, was overheard saying that people should know who she is during the incident, according to TMZ, which was first to report the arrest.
Video of the incident obtained by TMZ shows Abraham speaking claiming to police that she "did not attack, or batter, or hurt or injure" anyone. She is also heard telling an officer to "go f--k yourself" multiple times.
The security guard involved in the alleged altercation suffered a minor injury, but did not visit a hospital, police said.
Abraham rose to fame in 2009 as a star of the MTV reality series "16 and Pregnant," as well as its subsequent spinoff series "Teen Mom." Her daughter Sophia is now 9 years old.
The reality star has also delved into the music world, releasing an album titled "My Teenage Dream Ended" in 2012, followed by a memoir by the same name later that year.
Abraham was previously arrested for driving under the influence in Omaha in 2013.
